Let the countdown begin


I've known for a few months now that I'll be taking a trip to Rome this coming May. I applied to present at a conference and had my paper accepted, which always makes for a lovely excuse to visit my favorite city.


Best of all? I found killer airfare today! So in 119 days (!!!!), I'll be boarding a plane in Philly and don't have to get off until I'm in Rome!!

Ok, I lied. Best of all, I get to take this trip with her:
Aleta and me, New Year's Eve

Amazingness shall ensue. One hundred nineteen days. I can't wait!!
